I use only one old inscriptor's bag, for inks and papers. Keep all your glyps on auc, not in bags, keep only one copy at one timeĭraw new glyps in marketwatcher interface. (40 glyps and 10 letters with money are enoght) Never make you mailbox full, cancel lots by 40 glyph chunks. There three rules for optimal for time trading: I try to monitor news about gathering bots, but it too hard to predict prices.įor trading i use heavely modified marketwatcher. Yes, milling and mixing ink are painfull =)īuying lots of herbs is painfull too, because you dont know price tendencies sucn as bot baning program or gather bots bugs or etc. Since I camped him, he invested 1 hour as well, but he certainly didn't make anything at all. The reason I reposted 3 times for a measly 950g profit, is to force the other guy out of the markt. However! Remember this is what your competitors are thinking, in order to force you out of the market. As I've posted elsewhere, I can make 1k by selling Fortune Cards in 30 minutes, so why bother with the Glyph market?

Gold per hour wise the Glyph market (on my server at least) has become quite horrible. There used to be times that I logged on, reposted my glyphs after letting them expire (no cancel needed) and the next day I made 4000g. After all, it looks like I made 950g by doing this (turnover, not even profit). While I was posting I was undercut, so I cancelled again and reposted again for a total of 3 times or so. I spent about 1.5 hour goofing around and reposting my Glyphs yesterday.

It makes the process of cancelling and reposting even more tedious.Įconomy is different from server to server, but let me give you an example. You will be able to take out 50 glyphs in about 15-20 seconds, but the server restricts you to wait another 40 seconds before releasing the next 50 items batch, this is to catch bots of course. This is a brick wall when you have cancelled 450 glyphs.

* You can install Postal (addon) to make it easier to get mail from the mailbox, but you can only get 50 items (50 glyphs) out of it at a time. If you time it right, you can do this while eating, waiting around for a dungeon (if your scribe is a character you play), or while you scan the auction house. * Milling such a volume of herbs often results in a Blackfallow Ink crafting queue of 40 minutes or longer. Still you can argue this is a waste of time: during that time my character (or my WoW subscription for that matter) can't be used for anything else. This allows me to do something else while my character is milling, albeit rather slowly. I use a forbidden (against ToS) autoclicker which clicks my Mill button every 3 seconds and have auto loot on. There are some things that your can't get around so easily: This helps to shorten posting and canceling times! 3 glyphs in that same timeframe never happens so limit yourself to 2. My data shows that very rarely 2 of the same glyphs are bought in the same timeframe, but it does happen. It makes no difference to post 4 or 5 glyphs if someone undercuts you right after. * In order to cancel and post, I am currently using 4x32slot Inscription bags, 36 slot is too expensive at 1k per bag. On my character I need 4 bank tabs to store all glyphs. * Make a bank alt, and put him in a own banker guild, send all glyphs you make to him. This is instrumental to your later profit. And by bulk I mean hundreds and thousands of stacks at a time when they are cheap. Things that have helped me in my search for automation: Glyphs are the most time consuming method of gold making, this also acts to keep a lot of people out of the market.Exactly, therefore the clue is to make the process for you as painlessly as possible.
